Ubuntu Login

All machines are now dual boot. To log in to the Ubuntu system restart the computer if you were logged in.

If not press Ctl-Alt-Del to re-login. Instead of logging in, in the main login window click on the icon at the lower right of the screen to restart the computer.

When the computer starts a boot menu will eventually appear that will allow you to log in with the linux partition.

Linux Login Failures

You may not be able to log in to the linux system initially. If you are not able to log in on the Ubuntu systems:

1. Log in to the Windows partition.
2. Open a browser window and go to sfu connect
3. Click on the MySfu tab
4. Click on Change Password
5. Reset your password (password does not actually have to change)
6. Wait 15 minutes
