Genie 4 "Cross Platform Client"

Genie is an alternative front-end for use with the Simutronics Corporation’s library of games, including Dragonrealms and Gemstone.

Genie 4 is an upgrade of Genie 3 to the .NET 6.0 unified Core Framework which adds cross-platform support.

There will be bugs. Probably lots of them. If you're looking for a stable version, this is not it.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

Genie Client utilizes Microsoft .NET 6 Framework and you may need to install it.
The Download can be pulled directly from the Microsoft website using the links below.

Microsoft .NET Framework 6.0.1 Runtime [https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0]

Installation

1. Download the installer from here: todo-CreateNewBuild

2. Get the latest Active Testing version of the Client from here: todo-DetermineLocation

3. Copy the client into your install Location from Step 2 above. "Default install Directory"

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Genie Client 4

4. Get Maps Updates from the Team at [https://github.com/GenieClient/Maps]
