The current license for this repo is GPL 2.0 which is deprecated: https://spdx.org/licenses/GPL-2.0.html

Also, are you sure you don't want to use a more permissive open source license? Viral licenses like GPL make reuse harder. Janelia's standard open source license is the BSD-3-Clause: https://www.janelia.org/open-science/software-licensing
