Summary
In this demo PR, the idea is to use Spotless for gradle using the google-java-format.
Essentially, as part of the build process, it will add an extra step to check if the code is properly formatted using the Google Code Style Guide. If not properly formatted, it will indicate to apply the formatting by running
./gradlew :spotlessApply
. This could also be configured as a pre-commit hook which does it automatically.
