Levels Argus

In Argus there is several levels in the surveillance system:

• The peripheral level ("reporting level") which send the weekly reports using the Argus Android application.
• The intermediate levels:
  • the first intermediate level (e.g. district) has to validate or reject the reports sent from the reporting sites of its area and check the epidemiological summary of its area to detect anything suspicious.
  • the second intermediate level (e.g. region) has to validate the aggregated reports from the first level of its area (e.g. from each of its districts) and check the epidemiological summary of its area to detect anything suspicious
  • ... there may be as many levels as possible, but usually there is one or two intermediate levels
• The central level has to validate or reject for aggregated reports from the below level and check the epidemiological summary to detected anything suspicious.
