    Reason for change: Use JSONRPCDirectLink calls instead of thunderController to address the thunder failure. With reference of https://code.rdkcentral.com/r/c/rdk/components/generic/rdk-oe/meta-rdk-video/+/100750

Test Procedure: Build and verify.
