This chrome extension only adds a simple google cast button (chromecast) on Videos and Livestream from kick.com. This is not a official extension. This extension does not use any additional permission and uses latest chrome manifest v3 maintaining a sanbox for content.js. Only host permission needed is for kick.com to add a button in the html. It should work for any chromium based browsers such as Google Chrome, Opera, Microsoft Edge, Brave, etc.

Currently it adds a chromecast button to the livestream or video page for kick.com. To make use of it we use a popular open source library called Castjs. https://github.com/castjs/castjs We inlclude the minified version downloaded from that repository (cast.min.js). This script (CastJS) also adds the Google Cast sdk that is needed for web sender api. https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/web_sender/integrate
The fetch api calls are from public apis from kick.com. It does not use cors proxy anymore rather directly gets information from kick.com.
No self identifying information is logged or collected. As you can see the extension also do not have any special permissions.
