Overview

This software is a free opensource digital signage application for public display of advertising material.

It has a low memory footprint so can easily run on embedded windows xp with as little as 256 meg of ram, and as slow as 233 mhz.

It plays a sequence of 'clips' that are basically advertisements. Each clip can be any type of media, for any duration. Be it JPEG/PNG stills , AVI/MPEG/WMV video clips , FLASH SWF Content, or even HTML pages for n duration, or even YOUTUBE Video URLS fullscreen for max N seconds.

Each impression show count is logged so its view count can be sent back to the home server, via pre defined REST urls in the config. Each impression can be paused by the user if in a interactive configuration such as buttons/touch screen. This then allows the user to CALL the advertiser via the systems built in phone/modem if configured. As each advetisement contains such information as their phone numbers, and also restricted hours of use. Also optionally each advert has a B/W printer file which could be printed by such device if attached.
