v0.4.3
[ UI ]
- Adjustments to conflicts UI for when there's no conflicts detected
- Adjustments to background blur in mod overviews, fixing cut-off blur on animated thumbnails
[ VPKs ]
- Fixed not being able to open mods in File Explorer on Windows
- Removed VPK extraction UI
Sorry for the wait, been busy busy busy.
Sadly, the VPK extraction broke after I swapped some libraries around. Thus, the UI for it has perished until I get around to making a solution.
I've also put up a Trello board for anyone interested in the development :D
v0.4.2
v0.4.1
[ Manifest ]
- Previous manifest parser has been fully replaced with the experimental one - the toggle has been removed from settings
- Phased out the "node-vdf" package in exchange for a custom KeyValues parser, brilliantly dubbed "funky-values"
- Added an option to do a quick manifest refresh on start-up (found in General, defaults to disabled)
[ Shuffles UI ]
- Minor visual adjustments
- Fixed the background colour not taking up the entire panel when scrolled
v0.4.0
[ Manifest ]
- Added new experimental addoninfo.txt parsing that does a better job at extracting mod metadata from VPKs directly and shouldn't be prone to crashing. Can be enabled from Settings -> General (disabled by default)
- Fixed some Spas12 mods not being properly categorized as such
[ Library ]
- The library will now display some text when there's no mods detected or when a query comes up with zero results (search, filters, category, ...)
- Added thumbnail customization settings (defaults to a wide aspect ratio with stretching)
[ Mod Overviews ]
- Added a setting to hide descriptions (enabled by default)
- Added "Open in File Manager" button
- Added a notice for mods that come with a missing addoninfo.txt (only works with new experimental manifest parser)
[ UI ]
- Improved tooltip positioning on the Refresh button
v0.3.1
[ Onboarding ]
- Completing the onboarding will now trigger a full manifest refresh and then import your mods
v0.3.0
[ Mods ]
- When refreshing your mod list, all workshop mods will now resort to the Steam Workshop API for fetching mod metadata, while mods installed outside of the Workshop will utilize the traditional (and sometimes faulty) method of reading a mod's addoninfo.txt within its VPK
- The "Enable Networking" option is now ignored completely
- Added a tooltip to the "Refresh" button, letting you know that a left click will do a quick scan for newly installed mods, while a right click does a full scan of all installed mods
[ Profiles ]
- Revamped profiles UI
- Added profile deletion
[ Settings ]
- Revamped settings UI
- Added "Open Steam Storage Settings" button inside the "Steam Games Directory" tab
- New "About" tab, replacing the modal previously located in the header
- Removed "Networking" tab
[ Onboarding ]
- When first setting up Funky, you'll now be asked if you wish to import your currently selected mods from L4D2
[ Updates ]
- Added an "Update available" button that will appear once there's a new update available. The update itself isn't automatic, it simply takes you to the latest release page on GitHub
[ Development ]
- Added GitHub Workflow action that now automatically builds Funky for Windows and Linux
v0.2.2
This update removes the Steam directory check on the setup guide, as it was not allowing some valid directories. Still, make sure you get the right directory in!
Sorry for the lack of updates, busy with life, work and mostly addicted to Deadlock :D
0.2.1
- Fixed not accepting Steam directories from other drives
- Added app version to about dialog
0.2.0
Initial test release
