The ACRN Hypervisor is a Type 1 reference hypervisor stack that runs directly on the bare-metal hardware, running multiple software subsystems, managed securely on a consolidated system by means of a virtual machine manager. It also defines a reference framework implementation for virtual device emulation, called the "ACRN Device Model".
The majority of project ACRN documentation is published at http://projectacrn.github.io. This wiki is for less formal contributions and collaboration, typically not tied to a specific release, and not requiring the writing and review guidelines expected for the official site.
