PinchBar 0.3

• Issue fixed: Main gesture with Cubase 13 (#2)
• Bug fixed: PinchBar 0.2 claims to be new version in update alert (e.g. "0.3" instead of "0.2").
• New preset: "Cubase 13" works like "Cubase", but pinching while holding down CMD is now mapped to CMD+SHIFT+scrolling. Since Cubase 13, this zooms vertically to the mouse pointer rather than to the active track and feels a bit more intuitive on the trackpad.
• New preset for browsers and the like: "Font Size/cmd" doesn't affect zoom without a modifier, but changes font size on CMD.

This release is based on PinchBar 0.2 and does not contain the features of 0.2.8. A new pre-release combining all features of 0.2.8 and 0.3 will be available very soon.

PinchBar 0.2.8 Testing

This is the first official preview of the upcoming release of PinchBar 0.4 with many new features for you to test.

• PinchBar now allows you to zoom continuously with Magic Mice in all apps with zoomable content:
• Scroll vertically with two fingers on a Magic Mouse for Trackpad-like pinch-to-zoom. Try this in your Browser.
• This works with all presets (like "Cubase", "Font size", etc.), too, bringing one-handed, continuous zoom to Cubase users on Macs without Trackpad.
• Instead of holding down ALT (or CMD) to toggle alternate zoom modes, you can now perform a quick tap with one (or two) fingers followed by the pinch gesture immediately afterwards. This allows you to perform vertical and waveform zoom in Cubase one-handedly.
• This works just as well on Magic Mice as it does on Trackpads!
• A new preset "Font Size/cmd" doesn't affect zoom without a modifier, but changes font size on CMD (or double tap zoom). This is the inverse modifier logic of "Font size" and therefore the new goto preset for all browsers.
• PinchBar now allows you to click with three (or two) finger on Trackpads (or Magic Mice) to trigger middle clicks. This is useful in many situations, e.g. you can middle click and drag the view in Cubase with your Magic Mouse when you dislike sidewards scrolling on it.
• All of this can be customized or disabled via the defaults CLI (documentation will be added soon...)
• PinchBar doesn't need to be restarted after using defaults CLI anymore, changes are now processed on the fly.
• Bug fixed: PinchBar 0.2 shows the wrong version number ("0.3" instead of the upcoming "0.2") in the alert when update is/will be available.

PinchBar 0.2

• PinchBar is now organized in different presets:
• "Cubase" like in PinchBar 0.1, but now with modifier support for vertical zoom
• "Font Size" for other apps (Editors, Mail, Safari, Terminal, ...)
• User experience is improved when new update is available

This version uses a new data model, cannot read the previous one and therefore resets saved user configurations.
