How to create a new project.

Using the Add Project Button Method

To create a new project you need to start by adding a new project by clicking on the "plus" button in the side menu.

You will be presented with the Create new PhoneGap project or Add existing PhoneGap project options.

Using the Drag & Drop Method

You may drag a file or folder anywhere onto the PhoneGap Desktop's interface to trigger the Create new PhoneGap project or Add existing PhoneGap project options.

Creating a new project

1. Choose a folder where you project will be created in the Local Path section.
2. Enter a project name in the Name section.
3. You can optionally enter a project ID in the ID section, if you choose not to enter a project ID your project will be given a default ID of com.phonegap.helloworld.
4. Click on the Create project button.
