This project involves in performing functional testing of OpenStack Barbican Key Manager deployed on the Red Hat OpenStack platform version 14.
Barbican is a REST API designed for the secure storage, provisioning and management of secrets such as passwords, encryption keys and X.509 certificates. It is aimed at being useful for all environments, including large ephemeral clouds. Barbican is integrated with several OpenStack features.
Barbican is often used as a key management system to enable use cases such as Image signature verification, Volume encryption.
