Shouldn't pyproject.toml placed to the root of the repo to cover also tools/benchmark_app?

That is discussible, I thought about that too, but at this case we would need to put in the root setup.py too until we drop it at all

agree about moving to the root.
update toml removed debug prints fixed setup.py pathes Revert "move metadata to toml" This reverts commit a124dcfa1e5722885f758a4ba9bfa02fc42a738d.
