Builds will fail until 2.x is bumped to 2.12 to pick up the common utils dependencies backported to 2.x, which is 2.12 |

Common utils has not had an updated snapshot for 2.12 in maven since 11/16 hence we still have the failures. This is because the CIs here don't publish common utils to maven local so it uses the sonatype repo - ref: https://github.com/opensearch-project/alerting/blob/2.x/build.gradle#L31 |
