Perhaps? It's hard for me to see what's going on here sorry. Any chance of a screenshot or something similar?

Basically I attempted to improve the website so there is a nice open journals logo at the top, a "journals" page and a "people" page and also a link to NUMFOCUS. The content you had is still there though.

It will render the website like this 👇

P.S. I build it locally using Jekyll and bundle exec jekyll serve

Thanks @Kevin-Mattheus-Moerman. I'm actually working with a designer right now on a refresh of the JOSS/JOSE sites and I'm hoping that we can incorporate the new look into any updates to this site too.

Basically, yes, I'd like to update the site. Just not yet :-)
