Configuration file of yt dlg

The configuration file of yt-dlg is the same as the configuration file of youtube-dl, since yt-dlg is a front-end GUI for youtube-dl³. The format of the configuration file is a JSON file that contains youtube-dl options¹ ². The location of the configuration file depends on your operating system.
- On Linux and macOS, the user wide configuration file at:
$HOME/.config/yt-dlg/settings.json. - On Windows, the user wide configuration file at:
%APPDATA%/yt-dlg/settings.json.
You can edit the configuration file with any text editor to change the default settings of yt-dlg.
