You probably want to use ESPKey-green.bin unless you are one of the rare few people who have a purple board on the IDC connector side of the ESPKey. For you Windows users, ui-update.sh should run fine under cygwin. Please test and let me know!
To install this thing, connect via WiFi to your ESPKey and get into the web user interface, then:
- Download and save any data/configs you care about
- Click Update in the nav-bar
- Click the Browse... button
- Find where you downloaded ESPKey-green.bin (or purple)
- Click the Update button
- Wait for reboot
- Reconnect to your ESPKey via WiFi
- Run
bash ui-update.sh
- That's it!
There are lots of new features from major UI improvements to great functionality like remote syslog, basic auth, access control and more. Take a look and see what you think. Please add Issues as you discover things that don't seem right.
