To attach the cameras and cables, we designed 3D-printed parts.
The cable guide can be used with UR e-series and the camera holder can be used with 2F-85/2F-140 Robotiq grippers.
We added cable tie attachment points to a 3D part that replaces the cable protector of the UR e-series:
The cable wraps around J6 for safety, to protect the connectors from overload.
We found it most practical to bundle the cables and attach the bundle with velcro between J2 and J3.
Older Robotiq grippers do not come with screw holes to attach. We use the M6 screws that fasten the gripper to its base to attach the part.
The protruding part that holds the camera can be changed to hold other things, such as diabolo sticks.
