This Wiki covers the basics of using GitHub and HTML to work on a digital project. This information is especially tailored towards MSU students working on LEADR projects, such as Indian Country Mapping projects. - Get a GitHub Account
- Download GitHub Desktop
- Sign into Desktop using your GitHub Account
- Download a Text Editor (see below)
- Sign into your text editor with your GitHub Account
- For PC and Mac (highly preferred): Atom
- For PC: Notepad++
- For Mac: TextWrangler
- Another Option: Sublime Text Editor
