3.0 Run Frepple Planning algorithm

1. Go to Settings> Run Plan.

2. There are two plan types: constrained and unconstrained.

• Constrained plan:

Respects all enabled constraints. In case of shortages the demand is planned late or short. No material or capacity shortages are present in the plan.

• Unconstrained plan:

Shows material, capacity and operation problems that prevent the demand from being planned in time. The demand is always met completely and on time. Users can decide the plan type and constraints. Both constrained and unconstrained plans consider the constraints that have been selected while doing plan creation.

3. Click on Run Plan to run the Frepple Planning Algorithm on the Frepple side.

4. A popup message indicates the plan has been executed successfully. Users are recommended to wait for 10 seconds after successfully executing the plan before proceeding to the next step.

5. The Update demand, manufacturing and purchase order checkbox is set 0 by default. Check the box only after the plan have been run for the very first time.
