Updating Mine Cells

If you are sure that there were no changes done to the world generation in a given update, you can skip this guide 😁

Resetting Mine Cells' Dimensions

After updating Mine Cells, it is advised you reset the mod's dimensions, so they can generate all the new features. Before doing so, make sure there are no players in the dimensions you want to reset, as they will probably suffocate.

If you can't get all players to exit the dimensions, set the minecells.suffocationFix game rule to true. This will make sure that players get teleported to their spawn point if they were going to suffocate in a wall.

If you are playing on a singleplayer world:

1. Select the world you want to play on
2. Click Edit
3. Click Open World Folder
4. Open the dimensions folder, then delete the minecells folder
   1. If you don't want to reset every dimension, you can delete only the selected directories under minecells
   2. If a dimension folder doesn't exist, you don't need to do anything with it - it hasn't been generated yet and thus doesn't need resetting

If you're an administrator of a server:

1. Navigate to your server's root folder
2. Open the world directory
3. Delete the directories, like in step 4. above
