@jykanase what is patch5 doing? Is it related to a CVE fix or just some additional change that was brought over?

It is related to CVE-2024-7264. Some changes were required in the same file to apply CVE patch cleanly.

@jykanase Our preference in these situations is to simply combine it with the CVE fixing patch file.
