How to Flash

To flash a SD Card with the TorizonCore image for BeagleBone Black download the files from this release and run in a terminal:

bmaptool copy torizon-core-docker-dev-beaglebone-yocto.wic.tar.gz /dev/<your sd card device>

How to Boot

⚠️ This image does not install the system on the internal eMMC. The boot use the SD Card.

Insert the SD Card into the BeagleBone black and before turn on the power supply keep the BOOT button pressed:

This will boot the board from SD Card.

Known Issues

• docker-compose OTA Update: even if the Torizon platform reports the update as successful, the board still takes some time to process the package receipt and run the application;

⚠️ BeagleBone Black is a single core Arm Cortex-A8 board. Processing speed is very slow compared to a more modern quad core Arm Cortex-A72 hardware.
