Thanks very much for writing this. As someone teaching R to first and second
year life-science undergraduates R, I completely agree.
Misusing the Github PR mechanism - but has anyone suggested some follow-up
study of R learners, to see how much further students get in their
understanding, or use of R, having been taught their introduction in base-R
compared to introduction to R via the Tidyverse?
