This minor release fixes:

• a problem that appeared when Linux users on Wayland wished to use stream search and Tagasaurus expected to be able to list all the windows and screens but on Wayland the user is prompted on which screen to select.
• an error when the webcam was selected but no webcam is available would cause an error.

1.5.0

This release offers a new tool, improved UI, font settings and more. Overall, it is more robust than before offering all the projected features the app idea began with.

New features:

• Search individual faces from images and video stills accessed by right clicking on an image/video to see the choices for search.
• A new tool 'Face Explore' produces a selection of faces randomly selected which upon clicking expands revealing a midpoint face selection. This relies on a vector DB allowing for this to scale.
• Stream search has an updated UI and uses the vector DB to improve its efficiency for the real time searches.
• Settings now allow the font family to be changed, the granularity of face searching in videos which changes the speed, and word filtering for tags in multiple languages.
• Search optimization allows reduces computation time of all search.

Tagasaurus 1.2.0

This version now allows users to incorporate Videos / Audio / PDFs into their media storage. They can play the videos and audio in the main views and in the search modals. The pdfs can be viewed in main display. Linux users were not able to run the executables off of external media such as USBs which were formatted as vFAT but a script is included for those users allowing them to run it so all they have to do is access that file for an auto remount with exec functionality.

Users can organize their images using annotations (tags / emotions / memes) rather than arrange in a set of folders
There are multiple search tools to help a user find the image in their collection from providing the annotation info such as the keywords / emotions / meme information. The meme search is genuine memetic searching which relies on the bi-partite graph to run in linear time.
Image collections can be made that are galleries with extra information of the annotations. There is search across collections as well.
Facial recognition is offered for a super search functionality and for finding image similarity.
There are installers which install the application on your desktop system. Also, executables are offered which allow you to run the application without installation. This allows you to easily add data, then copy the data folder on another machine with an executable for it and have the annotations carried along. ( 'you run the executable on a machine and then want it to be run on another machine and not have to do export/import and you are on Linux but want to go to Windows' so you, 'copy the data files directory next to the folder holding the executable to the other computer place the relevant executable on it and paste the TagasaurusFiles directory next to it before running the new executable and it will pick it up'.
Import and exporting the Taga data is also possible using the tools in the application.

The first crack from the Tagasaurus shell v0.01

The basic components of the tool are not available which allows for tagging images and creating collections of images as entities.
