Introducing the largest update to the Stream Switch since its introduction. This version packs quite a few new features designed to make setup and integration easier for administrators and the interface and usability easier for viewers. Major changes include:

  • Data is now pulled from the Live Streaming API, an all-in-one management application for your live streaming needs
  • Player now uses JW Player for greater flexibility and features, instead of the Azure Media Player
  • Analytics are captured via Google Analytics
  • Ability to dynamically show or hide the audio/video switcher controls based on whichever events are online and currently streaming
