Validating The Results

This is pretty much propeller hat (Techie) info but if your curious about the details read on!

I used a couple of resources to make sure the results work, the first is of course the microformat hRecipe where the specification is being defined. The format is a work in progress and currently I am supporting version 0.22 though I plan to continue to update the extension as the specification matures.

The second resource is a nice validation tool that Google provides which will review your web page and try to parse out the hRecipe data, you can double check your own blog posts as well to make sure that things are getting parsed well by Google. Pinterest now supports microformats too! You can verify your blogs post will work with the rich pins tool by verifying it on the Rich Pin Validator.
