A more secure way would be to bind Xorg to the Linux VT where you ran startx, using $XDG_VTNR. :neckbeard:
See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Start_X_at_Login and also my shell login profile for an example.

I already use $XDG_VTNR: https://github.com/kurkale6ka/zsh/pull/5/files#diff-898f196707dc1dd1f313b532e6c2e136L84

What happens is sometimes I Ctrl+C instead of providing the passphrase for my ssh key and then the graphical desktop won't start...

Here I am trying to prevent this from happening
