It would be wonderful to take advantage of the smart keywording plugin for any field in a ResourceSpace database. Perhaps the plugin could draw data from a table associated with any particular field as opposed to the kreuverweis database.

Great work and great idea! Thanks very much!

Even if there is no built-in intelligence relating terms by subject (as in the kreuverweis database), simply auto-populating terms from a table as a user types would be extremely helpful to catalogers for spelling and accuracy purposes. This would provide guidance for catalogers during text entry using a great graphical interface so catalogers can click on the result they'd like to use. It would follow formatting standards for cataloging (last name first, etc.) or might even be configured to suggest date formatting, for example (2012-03-08 vs. 03/08/2012). This would certainly alleviate data cleanup for database administrators!

Having smart keywording for any ResourceSpace field is a good idea. As well as having user-defined lists that are autocompleted (is this a proper description of the feature you are describing?).

I will keep this issue open and label it as 'Feature' so that we don't forget about it in future developments.

Yes, user-defined lists that autocomplete and smart keywording for any field are great descriptions for the features I mentioned. Thanks for the reply, and please keep us updated about any progress you make!
