New CFMM MP2RAGE sequence contains (0019, 100c) [B_value] in the DICOM header, causing dcm2niix to interpret these images as diffusion and generating a .bval and .bvec file.

Hmm I'm not sure. I see they just released a new version 2 weeks ago. My guess from quickly skimming through the issues closed is that it wouldn't fix this issue, but it is worth testing it out. |

Some recent MP2RAGE acquisitions now contain
(0019, 100c) [B_value]in the DICOM header, causingdcm2niixto interpret these images as diffusion and generating a .bval and .bvec file. As it no longer follows the BIDS spec since these are not anatomical-associated files, the bids validation is failing.
