Map is not displayed in Tableau 2021.1

In Tableau 2021.1 kepler extension shows only UI, but doesn't display map or data on it

Also look like Kepler version (1.0.0) is lagging from master (2.5.5) on https://tableau.kepler.gl

@affei I was able to reproduce the blank map/data issue in 2021.4, I need to dig into this a bit and see whether this is due to Tableau or Kepler. As part of this, I will see if I can go about bumping the version and will build off of PR #37 in doing so.

I have confirmed the following:

1. It works in Desktop on Mac from version 2020.4 and below.
2. It does work in Desktop on Mac from version 2021.1 and above.
3. It does work on Server across all of these versions.

Thus it appears to be related to Desktop's iffy support for WebGL.

As noted in tableau/extensions-api#487, WebGL is no longer supported in Desktop for Mac or PC. I will update the docs to note server support only and work to bump dependencies as well. Thanks.

Any updates on this issue guys ? I am trying to use Kepler with Tableau and I am getting the blank page @demartsc
