Acoustic is a lightweight Web framework based loosely on Django and Rails. Right now Acoustic is highly experimental. You may find stuff that is incomplete or downright broken. Feel free to browse around in the source code, fork the project, or make something new.
Acoustic has the following goals:
-
To be a “lightweight” web framework somewhere between Sinatra and Rails
-
To load fast enough to be used in CGI applications
-
To be modular enough to share entire slices of the MVC between apps
-
To require less files, generators, etc… than Rails
