Build a "pipeline validation model" which gets the answer as an input and make sure it is always (or almost always) right!
Two versions:
one that just assigns the right coordinate the success label
one that actually has a neural network but the "motor command" is the success label.
If they don't do fantastically, something is likely wrong with the coordinate math/indexing/loss etc. Note: this isn't a real model for anything but testing purposes.
