Hello Jakarta EE Platform Team,

I've created a new version of the "Figure 1" for you.

This new version contains the following improvements:

  1. names of specifications are aligned (correspond to the Specification names on the "https://jakarta.ee/specifications/" page),
  2. "Server Pages" are replaced by "Jakarta Faces" in the "Web Container" rectangle,
  3. word "Jakarta EE 9" is replaced with "Jakarta EE 10" (down on the image),
  4. this image is aligned with a new version of images created by me for Jakarta EE Tutorial: "Web Container", "Enterprise Beans Container" and "Application Client Container" images (I committed them 2 weeks ago (they will be published by Kito I think) - Kito was selected to work with Tutorial),
  5. all styles and colors are aligned to styles and colors introduced by me to images of the Tutorial (see Database image down, ecc) and other Specifications - so we have a standard image's style in entire Jakarta EE.

Let me know if you like it or if you want adapt this my version somehow for your needs - I'll do every changes with pleasure.

Before commit and push I've:

  1. generated specification on my PC
  2. controlled generated specification.

All seems OK. Let me know if you have problems and/or observations.

Dmitri.

We might as well update to EE 11 at this point which means:

  • Bean Validation should be changed to Validation
  • Managed Beans should be removed
