Painel de administração do Issuu na área de administração do WordPress.

Development

The project is based on the https://github.com/issuu/issuu-panel.

Inital Setup

To start development, you need to setup the docker environment.

make docker-start

After that, you will be redirected to the page http://localhost:8080/ where you can see the wordpress installation steps. PS: maybe you need to refresh the page to see the installation steps because the mysql instance is still starting.

• Choose the language and click on Continue.
• Fill the install form. Suggested values:
  • Site Title: Issuu Painel
  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin
  • Your Email: [email protected]
  • Search Engine Visibility: checked
• Click on Install WordPress.
• Click on Log In.
• Fill the login form with the values you used in the install form.
• Click on Log In.

Now you are in the WordPress Dashboard. You need to activate the Issuu plugin, which was already installed by the scripts.

• Click on Plugins.
• Click on Activate in the Issuu Panel plugin.

Now you can access the Issuu Panel in the left menu.

To use the Issuu Panel, you need to create an Issuu API Key and fill in the form. After that, you will be able to use the other tabs.

Update the plugin

After changing the code, you need to run the following command to update the plugin in the docker environment:

make docker-update

Then you need to refresh the page to see the changes.

After changing the code, you need to run the following command to send a new version to the wordpress repository:

make commit-new-version
