Application overview

Several countries need to collect information on antibiotic consumption, patient visits and lab studies over different sites. This process can happen with the Collector app on-site (in which case, connectivity may not be the best) or with other systems that gather the information and have exporting capabilities. With this context, the app supports:

• Importing of lab records and pharmacy stock information via .csv or .xls files
• Manual upload of patient information or pharmacy stock movements
• Offline functionalities, with synchronization happening when a network is available
• Obfuscation of sensitive patient information (also known as PHI)

The application's installers are built for Windows and MacOS, but the main end-users work with Windows. The computers in which the system runs usually have limited resources, so performance is relevant. Different installers are built for each country currently using the Collector app, pointing the backend towards a different server. All installers are available in the releases page.
