Status for the Rfc-ed/IANA Sync Project: 23 Sep 2011 - 30 Sep 2011
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary
=======
/submit/ handled. Alternate streams isn't far enough along that I can
complete the stuff related to this.
What's done
===========
The events relating to new_revision (i.e. the /submit/ stuff). Added an
undo page for RFC-editor. Evaluation mail updated, IANA protocols page
new checked for when RFC appears, and some bugfixes.
What's next
===========
Ole was working on the new states on the alternate streams assignment,
when he went on leave. Unfortunately, the sections relating to alternate
streams (4.2.2 and 4.2.2.1 of the RFC) depend on these states, and as
such I can't complete these sections until Ole has finished.
Also, I haven't heard back from IANA, yet. I'll try sending them another
e-mail.
Time plan
=========
Obviously, the alternate streams part pushes back the completion date.
What's implemented now can, however, run without it.
Problems and Possibilities

Status for the Xml2rfc V2 Project: 23 Sep 2011 - 30 Sep 2011
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary
=======
Wrapping most everything up at this point. Likely next step will be to have you review or us sending an email to the mailing list to review the packages, etc.
What's done
===========
- Cross platform testing has been successful thus far
- Created linux repo packages for the CLI
- Fixed a couple GUI bugs
- As requested, implemented a safety layer of attribute defaults, and allow to run application in non-validating mode (--no-dtd on CLI, options > dtd validation on GUI)
- We've designed an application icon
What's next
===========
- Ready for the IETF team to try out the full installers. Should we email the mailing list now?
- Submit the CLI and GUI packages to fedora/debian repositories upon your approval
Time plan
=========
In wrap up now with the GUI application and hoping to get some final feedback from the mailing list once you give the thumbs up Henrik.
Problems and Possibilities
==========================
None.
