The configuration of rpi-mqtt-monitor is stored in src/config.py. Below is the default configuration as of version 1.1.0
This part of the config is populated by the automated install script.

If you are not using the install script you need to manually configure MQTT server or Home Assistant API depending on what you plan to use.
In this part of the config you can adjust how often the probes are taken and how messages are handled.
