[Bug]: Clicking create thread on a contest topic doesn't populate the desired topic at first. #10029

Description

When navigating to a contest topic and clicking create thread, no topic is populated. Once you go back to the main community page communityid/discussions and click create thread the topic will then automatically populate.

Reproduction Steps

Go to a contest topic and click create thread.

Expected Behavior

Topic should be populated if you click create thread within a topic

contests are still ongoing

This was a fix before and seem to have regressed a bit per conversation with dillon
