Hey guys, noticed this didn't install on my system because of some out of date packages. I made some changes that allow the script to work.

Hey, don't work in Ubuntu 22.04: no such option: --break-system-packages

Anybody else tried this script?

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS doesn't properly install using scripts for 11.0.0, 10.0.0, 9.0.0 and 8.0.0
Running the scripts just stopped in errors then I just have to try other ones.
I am not sure if its the script or the OS install has some issues. I just install plain from Ubuntu Server 20.04.06 LTS ISO with defaults.

The SEAFILE_SERVER_PACKAGE_URL also changed to: https://s3.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com/download.seadrive.org instead of https://download.seadrive.org.

Is this project dead? I had all the issues mentioned above. Noone is looking at PRs anymore?

Seems that this file is missing https://download.seadrive.org/seafile-server_11.0.0_x86-64.tar.gz
Chaning the URL to above did not help.

The recommended way is to install Seafile via docker image. The installer is no longer recommended to use.

Ok, that was not mentioned in the documentation. I was going to try this out on EC2, so i thought ”why do i need to use dock inside a VM”. Turned out that it was a bad choice however.
