For using the Cura post processing script I adapted:

Download using this link: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gwylanscheeren/share/master/DisplayLayerAndTimeOnLCD.py

And copy to the following location:

C:\Program Files\Ultimaker Cura [X.X]\plugins\PostProcessingPlugin\scripts

Then, restart Cura and select Extensions -> Post Processing -> Modify G-code. Next, select “Display Layer And ETA On LCD” from the "Add a Script" drop down.
