Timeline milestones schedule

First phase of this project is 3 months: January 1 to April 1 2011 We'll have weekly meetings/working sessions each Tuesday. Each month will have a major development milestone which will be broken down into a week by week schedule.

Phase/Month 1:

• Proof of concept app using (only) Android SDK - Camera/Gallery, Auto Face Blur, Manual Blur, Save and Share Functionality
• Investigation, choosing and compilation of native libraries (OpenCV, etc.)
• Research what is out there, documentation, outreach

Phase/Month 2:

• Alpha app development using choosen native libraries

Phase/Month 3:

• Testing, Revisions, Video, Beta

Jan 4: Project Kickoff/Team Meeting/Organization

• Setup Source Code Repository, Mailing List, Wiki
• Determine and Document Project Requirements and Schedule
• Write up User Scenarios
• Define Project Roles and Recruit Help
• Determine Related or Useful Projects or People and Make Contact
• Setup of GIT Project for Phase 1
• Start investigation of various native libraries

Jan 11:

• Start on Phase 1: UX/Design, Proof of concept development
• Put on a public face - Start outreach to other interested parties

Jan 18:

• Proof of concept complete
