More of a note than anything, but any time a command takes awhile to run we should have an exercise right next to it that they can do while they wait.

Yeah this is a great idea.

We should also have them open two sessions/tab/windows right from the beginning. One will be working through the course, the other will be for experimentation, exercises, etc.
