Chrome extension to hide promoted tweets
Instructions to load in development mode:
- git clone repo
- open chrome settings > extensions
- activate developer mode
- load unpacked extension (point to PromoteMyAss folder)
- enjoy twitter without promoted ads
Instructions to pack as a regular extension (so that chrome stops complaining about 'unsafe' stuff):
- git clone repo
- open chrome settings > extensions
- activate developer mode
- click on Pack extensions (point to PromoteMyAss folder)
- a .crx file is generated outside the folder
- drag & drop the file on the extensions page to install
- enjoy twitter without promoted ads
