You're changing Method 3 which is "Install from source". So this is just wrong. You should have better to update the Method 1 and replace "2.5.2-1" with "2.6-1".

2.6.1 is not an existing version, but 2.6-1 is as this means it is the revision 1 of the 2.6 debian package.
