Blind Sight is a mobile application designed and developed to target visually challenged individuals and make their daily tasks and routines easier.

The application is designed to be usable by Visually Impaired individuals. For this purpose the application is voice and gesture controlled. All outputs are communicated to the user via voice and all input is taken via speech and gestures.
A user can store the profile of his/her friends and relatives by just capturing their image. Later the user will be able to detect whenever anyone from the stored profiles are around them.
The application will communicate to the user about all the objects in his/her vicinity. For example, a bottle, mouse or laptop.
The application will speak out loud any text for the user detected by the camera.
