Motivation
Piwi interacting small RNAs (piRNAs) were classified on the basis of their inmunoprecipitation with PIWI proteins. We used this criterion for created a dataset from the piRBASE database (http://regulatoryrna.org/database/piRNA/). We download the sequences from datasets deposited in piRBASE generated by inmunoprecipitation of different mouse PIWI proteins. Sequences of piRNA downloaded from these datasets were collapse and filter for avoid duplicate sequences. The IPpiRNA db were build using 16,033,825 unique piRNA sequences.
Sequence ID for each piRNA sequence is that it presents in the piRBase database.
You can found the sequences in fasta format to index with appropriated indexing software.

Dataset identification number in piRBASE (piRBASE ID), ID of the publication of the dataset in PubMed (PubMed), accession numbers of datasets in NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus database (Accession, Series), number of unique sequence in dataset (Uniq Seq), method and target of inmunoprecipitation (Method) and tissue and developmental time used for the inmunoprecipitation (Tissue), were showed in the table.
