This guide(screenshots) was made in my other modpack Life in the village 3. Check it out!
You can access quest window either by using special quest book item, clicking on a button in the upper left corner of inventory screen, or through a keybind.
You can craft a new quest book with a book and stone.
Quests come in a number of different types in this pack:
-
A majority of the quests in this pack will be completed by gaining the required item in your inventory. You will automatically get a pop up message in the top corner when this happens.
-
You can have quests for simply traveling to a destination or by traveling a certain number of blocks. This type of quests are often tied to completing an advancement. For example visiting Nether quest is tied to "We Need to Go Deeper" advancement.
-
How about playing Minecraft for 5 days? (ingame of course) Reach certain Minecraft day quest type:
-
The final quest type, probably my favourite, simply requires you to click the checkbox in the Tasks box to complete the quest. Pretty easy, right? These quests are almost always informative, like this quest about using JEI. Don't miss it.
To collect any reward simply click on it in the above Rewards box when you see the green checkmark(meaning the task is completed)
You can also click "Collect all" button in the upper right corner of quest window.
When there is no mod for what you want - make it yourself
From time to time by doing quests you can get coins: Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite and Nether(nether only type of quests). You can then exchange them in the special Quest chapter. They're repeatable type of quests so you can repeat them as many as you want.
There are two type of rewards:
- Random reward (often more generous but completely random)
- Choice reward (so you can pick what you need right now)
That's all for today. Leave your suggestion for quests and what rewards would be useful for you on github or in our discord server
