Pat_text_vars_NotWinsored.zipcontains RETech and Tech Breadth and is updated to include patents granted by Dec 31 2020 and applied for before Dec 31 2017.pat_lv(available in csv or dta) contains the patent sample (grants through 2013) and variables used in our paper. Variables in this dataset are winsorized where appropriate (please see the paper). It can be used to replicate our results.
